The golden eagle thing is real. I've seen some pretty amazing hunt scenes of these animals.
The chicken....... who knows, but a mule's eyes are very spread and on the sides of their heads, he appears to have his neck turned, and would have had no problem seeing that chicken, at least with my horse experience. Mules are devious critters and it would not surprise me at all that it would kick like that. However, there was no perceivable flinch by the chicken. Yet the guy's loss for words make me think that his concentration was perhaps lost by laughing of the film crew.>>>
