Hello Everyone, I am new here, my Name is Celeste. I work for EDITED. Simply put EDITED settles insurance claims. We can begin a claim (Large Loss, Commercial, Residential, Property Mgmt, HOA) from the very start or get involved with the claim after the insurance company is being "difficult" at no out of pocket cost to the property owner. All payments come from the insurance company. We are extremely happy to work with general contractors as well. We have an A+ rating with the BBB. We are also members of BOMA, NARPA, AAGC, National Association of Roofing Contractors and many others. PLEASE get in touch with me if you are interested is details! I would also appreciate any feedback/questions you may have!! Stay safe out there! Check out the link below for an interview with one of our attorney's in Colorado. EDITED

Celeste should not be getting free advertising here but all the comments were appreciated so I just d her contact information. Does that make me mean or greedy? Nah. Then this place would turn into one big advertisement!

The tactics of the insurance companies is unbelievable. We have ex adjusters working for us and they have given us some insight on certain situations and things the insurance companies do and how they determine damage. Trust me when I say it is without a doubt unethical and wrong. That's why it is so satisfying doing what we do and helping PEOPLE who think they are protected when in turn they just the opposite. Insurance company is not on their side nor their friend. Keep in mind we help general contractors also which also makes the homeowners very happy!!

We looked at one saturday 3 in hail and larger shingles are decimated the trees are pounded, old 5 v metal roof destroyed on house next store, cars under carport totaled, flat roof has modified bitumen on carport the good nieghbor people claim the flat just needs an elstomeric coating.I was surprised with such catostraphic damage that they would try not to pay for a flat roof as the damage is there. We found holes in the membrane and hits on the eave metal that were very clear, a marathon vent was pounded. There is no roofing system that can take this kind of pounding and still be usefull 3-6 in hail. I never seen such damage,to deny is either ignorance or intentional.

You are so very right. Unfort none of this is going to change. Last year was a record breaking year for the amount of money paid out in the insurance industry. This year is already beating last year and we are only 4 months in with "storm season" just beginning. Cash reserves are at a new low which means the insurance companies will be much harder this year. As we all know properties are denied when there is obvious damage, people are under paid and not paid enough to reach pre-storm condition, and most property owners think their insurance companies are acting in their best interest because they pay premiums. It is sadly far from reality. The average homeowner does not know how badly the insurance companies are not acting in their interest.

A+ BBB Rating as you know is meaningless Celeste. OTOH, The problem is not paying too little claims, but too many. If the Ins. Cos. would pay legit contractor prices instead of throwing money @ low ballers, we'd all be better off.
