How would anybody know? The water will never get to it,a nd it will turn to dust before the roof fails, like under slate. It shouldn't much matter what's under there, imho. You'd have to remove the roof to know, right?
If there's a leak, it's a roof issue, usually workmnaship, not an underlay issue and no underlay will keep the water out in the case of a leak.
