Been talking too much lately, I'm blaming it on the moon. See ya next month, PC I'll miss you unless something really stupid comes up.

Men I agree too. But I don't have time to bore you with the details. I am off to other forums to let them all know how they too can learn their respective trades in 30 minutes or less!

I am thinking that I could become some sort of wunderkind.....maybe infomercial this 30 minute thing. Who doesn't want to make the big bucks........and in a 1/2 hr. or less of learning!

I learned along time ago after repeated attacks what humility meant Humility does not mean thinking less of yourself than of other people, nor does it mean having a low opinion of your own gifts. But Jim, you aren't wrong about the cliqueyness and the backslapping. One or two posters are so self-impressed that they mostly engage in slapping themselves on their (there's that unimpressive word again) own back, and looking down on the others. But who can argue, when someone states they are superior to most everyone else, and almost everyone they think they're (oops) superior to agrees with them? :laugh:

It's fairly obvious where everyone's gone. When I first came here, I thought I'd find a robust forum of roofers talking about roofing issues and techniques.

I still am checking in but I'm not seeing much useful roofing talk. I don't mind stepping over the threads that aren't roofing, so that's not an issue with me but each time I start the log in process, I find myself thinking "Why bother; even if there is a roofing thread, it'll be just another round of back slapping by the good ole boy network, combined with ridicule and vile aimed at anyone else if they dare try to participate."

That's my impression of this forum. I know that type of social behavior goes on in all forums but it appears that this site has jumped the shark.

OS I know I feel like I own this place. Where did everybody go? I figured I would give everyone else a chance. PC
