State farm is refusing to pay for drip edge on shingle roofs, i need to document that the ibc high wind code requires the felt to be installed under the eave metal.As they are requesting this in writing from us.

I ran into this same problem. The IBC code that I read said that the drip edge is required only if it is required by the manufacturer's "approved" installation. I then could never find anyone that could show me where an "approved" installation was.

Listen I know nothing about these codes. What I do know is that terminology has everything to do with it. What a shame. If you speak the truth you're screwed. Twist it , your'e good to go. Our laws turn us into crimanals. Pathetic. PC
