Jim we have a local Catholic church that bought out 10 to 12 houses to build an educational center in town. They pressured people to contribute a donation for the millions they needed to build. My Mom was one, she refused and kicked them out of the house. Her neighbors felt the pressure and agreed to a contribution (elderly) when they couldn't keep the promise they got personal visits. NOT RIGHT. The pressure of contributing is outrageous. They have sister churches all over the world that they send envelopes to you asking for more money. The Vatican is not poor. This is nothing new. Let them pay taxes like the rest of us. PC

The day ya give up "religion" and meet Jesus will be the day ya eyes are opened.. ;)

I was also raised Catholic but I'm not practicing that faith as an adult. I am curious though about why you claim that they are greedy. The Catholics will let anyone sit in their pews every week without paying. That doesn't happen in other denominations, I've been told.

Robby please do not take me the wrong way. Everyone is entitled to their Faith. Or no faith. This was not said as a critisime. My misunderstanding is the Middle East that are more buried in their religious beliefs are being the most evil, I don't get it.

It just seems they are not happy unless they are miserable. Fighting and at war. Gezz. I don't care what nationalty anyone is, respect each other . It is a simple lesson " treat others as you would like to be treated" PC

We think "what is right in our country"...Is "wrong" in another country.....which is totally "wrong". The only difference is we have a "right" to say what is "wrong".

We grew up in our society, they grew up in their society. Their society is "right" to them...and our society is "wrong" to them....their view would be no different from yours PC.

To solve this dilemma...one would have to accept, respect their society. Once we do that....peace will grow world wide...but it has to start somewhere..."right"?

It is odd that our Local "7-eleven" people (arabs & hindus)get razzed daily because it is believed that they are all the same (terrorist)

Everyday I go in and treat them with respect, because they are here to make a living just like me. Until they do something to me....I have no problem with them!

I'm in a chatty mood...........I was raised a Catholic, church every Sunday confession every Saturday were (a little ironic) we lied to the Priest, a little funny. I think it's hystericail. My friends and I as we were walking to the church for confession were discussing "what you telling him today" Please no offence to anyone.

One thing I will say is that my daughter has started taking the kids to Church. Great thing. Not Catholic, even better. I DON'T LIKE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. They are greedy and hungry they are now a business.

My youngest grandaughter talks to me about what she is learning about JESUS and I am good with that. PC

FL that is so true, I know people that claim to be Christians and they are worst people I know. So judgmental. They don't even understand themselves. I'm not a church goer but I'd bet I'm better than them, I have a open heart and never hesitate to help regardless, no judgement. I be good. PC

.....would'nt surprise me. In my experience christian by name rarely means christian by nature.

I am feeling a little guilty for the vengence I feel. I wasn't raised that way but evil is evil. What I don't understand is that these people that are following the KARAN (their Bible) are so BAD. I'm missing something, haven't figured it out yet. Their disrepect for women really pisses me off. Maybe I should go there and show them some attitude.
