Already............no more political commercials!
YAY
Downside of course, is that by Thursday, all we will hear about is........who is running in 2016
Hopefully we will give science back to the scietensts.
As of election night my TV Antennae started working better. I now have 2 channels at least. Much better than before because sometimes I get an additional channel or two. But I'm not sure, because I really don't watch except for the weather
400+ jobs already axed by large MN based corporations. Reason? Publicaly announced obamacare pre company slimming.
Not only will you see many more out of jobs but you'll see EVERYTHING go up as a result of this new insurance law.
Who's ready for cap and trade???
Not a whole lot has changed since the Civil War, and that was 140 years ago. "Our" politicians are bought and paid for, and they have been for the most part for well over 100 years. The presidency is a figure head office, and he is being told what to do and what to say and where to be. Nothing has changed and nothing will. It will continue to get worse. Enjoy ourselves on the way down. The ship is sinking and is almost below water now.
The more things change the more they stay the same....
Marcus Tullius Cicero
"Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and gave him triumphal processions. Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the 'new, wonderful, good society' which shall now be Rome's, interpreted to mean: more money, more ease, more security, more living fatly at the expense of the industrious."

---Well, the king of "redistribution of wealth" got re-elected. You get the gov't you deserve. With 46,000,000 people on welfare I guess you could count on them voting for more gov't largess. ---In spite of this here are some truths that no politician can change...
"Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.." -- Winston Churchill
These are possibly the 5 best sentences you'll ever read: Unfortunately, most voters don't know this.
1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity, by legislating the wealth out of prosperity.
2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.
3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.
4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.
5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them; and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work, because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.
Good day!

---GKRFG... ---Frederic Bastiat, quotes about Civil Rights: Sometimes the law defends plunder and participates in it. Thus the beneficiaries are spared the shame and danger that their acts would otherwise involve... But how is this legal plunder to be identified? Quite simply. See if the law takes from some persons what belongs to them and gives it to the other persons to whom it doesn't belong. See if the law benefits one citizen at the expense of another by doing what the citizen himself cannot do without committing a crime. Then abolish that law without delay ... No legal plunder; this is the principle of justice, peace, order, stability, harmony and logic. ..........

Glad it's over, no surprise in the result. This election was over before it started. I called it six months ago. :( When the takers out number the producers they will always win. The next 4 years will not help this country in the least.
Mickey Mouse could have beaten Mitt Romney. He is about a vanilla as they come. You are right though. the phones and the computer calls have stopped. I wonder what they were thinking?
