In the Harrisburg area in PA we have been very fortunate so far. BUT tonight Tuesday we are expecting about 4" of snow. That's not bad, we are catching the fringe of the Nor'easter that has slammed the south and heading north. It has been quite the strange winter indeed. PC

Ottowa that is a great picture. But you know as I learned homesteading up in Northern Ontario all the snow on the side is an insulator. The roof clearing I understand. PC

It has been strange & strong all over. Where I'm expecting snow in my neighborhood, not getting it. The South, are blasted with floods, snow & ice. Britain, France, Australia, Haiti, Chile etc. I live in a 4 seasonal state. Some of you don't, like CIAK the imposter. Nothing but flowers and bees for him. Must be nice. Anyway, have about 2" on ground our first full ground cover. We had Farm Show this week which has a reputation of gauranteed snow. Not really true but people like to think so. It's a cultural thing. Gives us something to talk about. I personally don't go. Some go for the kids, food, oh yeah the animals. Big Atraction in town. PC

Light snow all morning. Supposed to get an inch or two. Calling for 31 degrees. By the weekend we are halfway through winter. I'm enjoying the slow down even though I am getting calls to fix condensation issues. I used to dread winters, but now I am able to save enough to coast through.

I can see the birds flying and the flowers blooming. I get to smell the fresh air, not full of cold or ice, warmth and happiness. You can feel goodness all around you. For those up North in the messy cold weather who can forget the way lemonade tastes on the first day of spring? It goes from being just another beverage to being a delicious treat. The sounds of Delightfully Different Dunedin put a smile on your face, kids running to school or playing in the park. Shop keepers waving you over with a smile and saying good day as you walk by. Paradise. La Dolce Vita B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
