For the last week in Michigan, we have been having highs in the low 80's and at night it has only been getting down into the 60's. Sleeping with the windows open and a fan on. It is about 6 weeks early. I am afraid that everything is going to freeze as the flowers are starting to bud and the frogs are croaking already. Not normal!

EVERYDAY is a new record high temprature and it is supposed to be this way through next Thursday. We are working but I keep waiting for the other shoe to fall.

Flagstaff is about 7500 ft and the mountain behind it is right around 12000 ft. Hell it's so close you can snow ski in the morning and drive to the valley and jetski one one of the lakes in the afternoon. That hail storm they said was one of the largest the nation has ever seen. The first for me. except a small one I tried chasing in ElPaso. Didnt know what I was doing. Lost my ass. This one was a little different. Funny thing, just before the storm there was probaly 4-500 roofers in Arizona with 2-300 of them about to go out of business and the storm hit OCT 5th, 2010. By the end of the year we had over 750 licensed roofers)they're statring to drop out now. The storm chasers came from every where. Jaspers brought 700 people into the valley. Most of the storm chasers are gone. probab;y 50-60% of the work got done the rest people dont know or kept the money. We're still finding some of it. Still have to supplement the loss of the custom homes. Yea, sales tripled in 2011. decent start to 2012.

You never quite get over a heat stroke. Your baility to withstand the heat and not have one drops. Been there before. Right side paralized 1/2 a day. Been n the hospital a few times for heat exhaustion. Now, I follow the Doc's advice and leave the roof around 80 degrees, give or take. I can get warm no matter how cold it is, but when at the nudist resort, or our farm, once I'm nude and still dying from the heat, there's no relief. I can't take my skin off.

The jet stream showed why the other day. A huge dip south smoewhere west of us GAK, then back up north again and over us and the lakes. I think I got heat stroked in '95 also. Got over it in about 3 yrs.

I like warm, not hot. Maybe this is weird enough to give us a nice cool summer

This weather is damned scary to me. 6 of the last 7 days have smashed records, been in the 80's. Yesterday was upper 70's and tied a record. Tommorrow will set another record in the 80's. Before last week we had never had 2 consecutive 70s in March. Now we are set for the 7th 80+ temp in 8 days. It looks like full blown spring outside, at least 4 weeks ahead of the normal season. If it's this warm now summer could be a killer, literally! And yet the west half of the country is cool. WTF is going on? The last time we had a March anywhere close to this was in 95 and that almost killed me. Got heat stroked so bad I have never been the same since. I dread summer at this point.

Looking ahead the warm temperatures are eventually going to run their course. Hold on, they will get replaced by a sweeping storm system. There is one that is currently dumping rain and snow in the Pacific Northwest. Weather is interesting. B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
