Ever have your shoes melt before you get onto the roof? Mine did. The whole climb was kinda tingly too.

Most times, I wrap them before working, but you know how it can be some days.

It would be nice if they made those laddervators out of fiberglass

OLE Willie

Two guys were taking down their laddervator here a while back when the tip of it touched some live wires and they were both electrocuted on the spot.

When we worked hot flat decks we put cardboard in our shoes, it wasn't the best but it did cut down on the heat transfer, when your pouring and mopping hot at 475 to 500 plus that good old Sun it get quite hot up there I remember setting up tarps for a sun shade on many jobs, but the worse was when we got a sudden shower and the humidity was so thick you couldn't breath yep thosee were the days lol
