Homeless People

A recent article in my local paper CLAIMED only 1 homeless person in the neighborhood. What a crock. I don't have enough fingers to count. Politically correct. sounds good. I have three living at my house. Must have missed them.

They do not qualify....not living under a bridge

That's because they are at my house.

Truley, good people on the down side. I think I'm finding my new goal in life. Bad Asses, my kind of people. We are good, we just know how to be bad in a good way. Oxymoron.

My BOYfriend introduced me to a BAPTIST Church. A church that feeds the homeless, (But we don't have any in our neighborhood)I took my granddaughter there last week. Touching to say the least.

Gotta fill you in...litening to KT Tunstall a Scottish Lass... I'm not predgidentse in anyway....right, Just because I'm Scottish has no beiring.

It's 3 in the morning... this is the only time i HAVE alone.. I'll take it.

I say good for you. If they are doing something besides eating your food and sleeping on your couch all day while you are at work. Its a balance between saviour and sucker. Make sure you are helping them not enabling them. McDonald's is a job even if they don't like it. How much skills do you need to do clean up on a job site. There is always a job. Some cash coming in is better then none. I see no excuse to not have a job at all. It takes no skills to flip patties or clean up trash. They should be seeking employment even if they think its beneath them.>>>

HOP It's people like me that make others look good. It is a two fold thing. I have great satisfaction of helping others. Do I know of anyone that would do the same for me? Uncertain.

You are correct, I am making them NOT HOMELESS. OK I'll throw them out.....we will get the statistics straight.

As an example....my brother, a convict, he came by taxi to my house 2 weeks ago. I wasn't asked, not given a choice but he is here. Should I consider him a tax deduction.

The ironic thing is this....they give me lectures. Here I am a widow, have a nice small house...mine. I am containing , holding my own , ask nothing of noone and some how I'm the bad guy.

Every one needs comfort to some degree. If I can give you got it.

Patty - if they live at your house, they aren't homeless. If you kick them out and the have no where else to go, then they are homeless. If they can't afford there own place, but can stay with someone else, they are just poor. There should be better educational opportunities for the poor so they can learn a better paying trade to change their lot in life.

Just out of curiosity, what skills do they have that are no longer in demand? Did they ever have skills that were in demand?
