Hello Everyone, I hope maybe someone can give me some advice I'am a roofing contractor that has been doing must of the sales myself I would like to hire some more sales guy this year but I'am having trouble coming up with a way to pay them. I have put people on salary in the past for a few weeks until they get on there feet but that has not worked out for me for instance I would pay $500 dollars a week plus commision of 5% of the net profit. Any advice would help

Pay more? like what? are you an owner or a salesman?

Mike's on the right track. Commericial or residential? are you suppling leads or are they out hustling to get business? are there any other beni's that you supply? Residentially, I supply no draw, 8%-10% commission, new vehicle, gas, phone, laptop, insurance after 90. I supply some leads but I expect you to put in 30-50 hr, on the honor system. I back you up with all the training you need, an office to work out of. Commercially speakly, you must come in with a book. I pay some draw and a commission..Negotiatable. Help me out with that one Mike. Don't laugh.

Look for salesperson that can make over $100k without a storm(very tricky) They're all going to say "I want to"

What kind of roofing do you do, and what kind of person are you hoping to attract?
