OLE Willie

I thought of you today when I was working on this one! :woohoo:

Willie, that's a concrete shake tile, the most common tile used up here.

What kind of roof is that woody?

Looks like cedar shakes with clay tile ridge?

They should of put a few more cuts in it!

I suppose I could learn to trust hanging ladders, but I doubt I ever would work on that pitch/height on hanging ladders without also having a rope.

This has been my office the past two days, cleaning 140 squares @ 10/12.

Yep! Back when I was doing Installs I would always joke around with the other guys, that if you fall off, you better nail at least 2 or 3 shingles on the wall of the house on the way down or your fired!

Not much traction on slate Willie. I use them sometimes though if less than 8/12 and I can't set up any better at times. The trick is to try to finish any repair before you slide too far away to finish, or go over the edge. Takes some of the boredom out of the job if you ask me. :)

You gotta quit cheatin' with those hook ladders though.

But I guess an old couch cushion doesn't stick well to slates or does it?

Yep, looks like my office!
