We had about 2-3 inches this morning about 4:AM and they say it is building out over Lake Michigan and we will be getting another 3-5 inches later today. Those of you in Wisconson and Illinois already know this. That should stir up a few leaks anyway.>>>

We are now the farthest away from the sun that we are going to be too. It must be really cold and dark down on the South Pole right now. BRRRR. What latitude are you at in NZ Mike?>>>

Global warming and drought. Go figure. It has been beautiful to work in when it is not raining around here. Politically incorect, but have any of these people ever heard of cycles?>>>

By the way, Golf Ball sized Hail in Hanover Park and Carol Stream areas.

We had a tornado nearby in West Dundee and Algonquin area according to the Police Scanner. I don't know if it touched down anywhere though, but the rain has been torrential since 3:15 this morning until around Noon.

Nope Gerry, June of 1993 had about 29 days of rain.

I remember is well, because I was doing a single ply and tile job on a Romanos Macaroni Grill in Naperville and the building was taking in water every day of construction and who was catching all of the heat.....

For the year so far though I think we are now at 3rd or 4th highest rain totals since they started documenting records around 1880.

The rains just keep on a comin'. We have had rain on June 1, 2, 8, 10, 11, 13, 16, 18 and again today. I think this is the rainiest year today that we have ever had. It's been nice and cool but that is supposed to end next week and 90's and high humidity are in the forecast.>>>
