Are we not allowed to view reality out of fear of being deemed racist anymore. Why do 90% of blacks support Obama? Has he made their lives better? I see no evidence of that, other than giving them Obamaphones. Why has 3/4 of the black congressional caucus been investigated for corruption, yet they still keep getting re-elected? Are we not allowed to draw any conclusions from this?

Black lives wil only improve when they quit relying on the crutch of "racism". The Lawrence Wilkersons and Chris Matthews of the world are merely enablers at keeping blacks in a state of dependence. It may assuage their own guilt, but it does nothing to uplift the black population.

Colin Powell's former chief of staff condemned the Republican Party on Friday night, telling MSNBC's Ed Schultz, "My party is full of racists."

Retired Army Col. Lawrence Wilkerson made the comment in response to Mitt Romney campaign surrogate John Sununu's suggestion on Thursday that Powell's endorsement of President Barack Obama's re-election was motivated by race. Wilkerson, who served as Powell's chief of staff when the general was secretary of state during the first George W. Bush term, told Schultz that he respected Sununu "as a Republican, as a member of my party," but did not "have any respect for the integrity of the position that [Sununu] seemed to codify."

When asked by Schultz what, if anything, the remark said about the attitudes of the Republican Party, Wilkerson said:

My party, unfortunately, is the bastion of those people -- not all of them, but most of them -- who are still basing their positions on race. Let me just be candid: My party is full of racists, and the real reason a considerable portion of my party wants President Obama out of the White House has nothing to do with the content of his character, nothing to do with his competence as commander-in-chief and president, and everything to do with the color of his skin, and that's despicable. The retired colonel also said that "to say that Colin Powell would endorse President Obama because of his skin color is like saying Mother Theresa worked for profit."

Arizona boot cut all the way $20

Too bad Penneys sells so many skinny jeans, that my average size of not skinny jeans are hard to come by.

I like Rustlers made in Mexicao and sold for about $12 a pair. The latest Levis my wife bought me, I like too. Not sure where they came from (Kohl's or Penneys is all I know)

At a convention in the 90s there were two guys that were selling made in USA roofer pants. They were like Carhardts with extra material at the points roofers wear out for around $80. I took their card and tried to call them a couple of months later, but they were out of business.

I find it a little disturbing those of you plotting to shoot the roving bands of 47 percenters. That seems a little extreme. I do sometimes feel like slapping some sense into them, but theyd still be just as ignorant and they probably would turn it into an Obamacare claim for a free facelift.

I'm not plotting to shoot anyone. I'm not hoping to have to shoot anyone. I will, however, defend my family and property. I've worked my butt off for 33 years in this business, and I do without plenty that I could easily afford so that I have reserve. I will not allow those who refused to do without, to take from me.

This is not so far-fetched as people want to convince themselves it is. We've seen segments of our society conditioning itself - we've seen them flash mob C-stores and even Walmart (see video below). It is not crazy to imagine how widespread this could be after Romney wins and Jackson/Sharpton/Shabazz have been telling their followers that we've just stolen their president from them.

Do you need a bone to chew on while you enjoy your brass rivets. Are you serious????????

I got excited the other day, the jeans I wear were on sale for $19.99 I bought two pair, Im good for along time. I didnt need them but I get when the gettin is good. Thats how I live. Oh Shit, Im ashamed of myself I missed the Glenn Beck at first. Mr. America himself. No wonder your paranoid. He has the Bazookas to charge 120$. Wrangler has been around long before Glenn Beck, we are talking real America NOT Glenn Becks America. Welcome to America...the land of opporutinty. Glenn Beck is banking on it. PC

LOL

Just pointing out that, the jeans you said were American made, are not 100% American made. Glenn Beck's jeans are 100% American made. Those are the facts as we know them. :-)

Glenn Beck has bazookas for sale for $120? Heck, I'll take 15! Even as I type this, I am heading out the door with my wife to a gun show in Midland, Tx. I'm going to do my best to talk her into letting me buy her that aweome pink Sig Sauer P290. But the bigger point is, guns and the Second Amendment are the American way. The other amendments are impotent if 2A is not there to give teeth to them. So, ridicule Glenn Beck, paraanoia and guns if you want; my 2A protects your 1A.

The sad part is that Obama can shoot himself in the butt over and over - demonstrating clearly that he is the most inept/corrupt president in the history of this nation - and sheeple like you will keep supporting him because he's the guy handing out money to those who will not work.

I promised myself that I would no longer be part of the problem. I promised myself that I will call a spade a spade. I promised myself that when people keep doing stupid crap that degrades our country, I will call atention to it regardless how awkward it might be for either of us.

Not exactly. I just ordered a pair of Glenn Beck's new 1791.com jeans. They are 100% American made including the brass rivets...the only jeans that are. They are pricey at $120 so I will make sure they fit right then buy more.

I am happy to hear this discussion. Throw me under the bus, but out of all the rhetoric as "I see" do feel, TomB said it best "the American people are resilient, and will continue to prosper, in spite of who's president...It's just a shame it has to be so difficult".

Now, TomB I will share this with you, I said the same 4 years ago and just months ago here on the forum. The elections are a feeling of importance & belonging when they really don't mean squat. Each party trips the other, stands in the way, money runs the game and any President has to run the gambit.

"We the people" we are the people, you & me. We have to serve, preserve, make sure things are right regardless of who is in office. I can trust myself. I can provide for me & extended family, just through knowledge, preperation and not depending on others. There is never a guarantee someone will give a lending hand but I will give one.

I would like Obama to be President. Will I be crushed if he isn't. No. Disappointed yes. I wish you all could "see" what "I see".

Lanny: good job, great quote, great truth

Roofguy: don't blame you one bit

MikeH: LOL  I would have been disappointed if I didn't hear from you. I'm glad I didn't disappoint you.

Final point: I'm glad to see a change in America. Bring home America. MADE IN AMERICA.

***For all you Roofers that wear jeans day in and day out, did you know that "Wrangler Jeans" are the only "Made in America " jeans. Screw Armani buy Wrangler. Do your part in simple ways. "We the people can make a change the changes, we have a voice over the elections.

I'm still breathing even although you have thrown me under the bus. Love to all PC

I have enough propane to last a month, or double that in conservation mode. I have a well so we're good to go on water. I have more than enough guns, ammo, and motivation to protect it.

A cropduster friend lives just across the field and he has 10 times more ammo and firearms than I have. My nearest neighbor and I have had many conversations about this and he is equipped well enough as well.

I also have video security cameras at my house and can monitor the entire circumferance from my desk.

This wouldn't be a good area to attempt to loot. Besides, we're in a small community a good 2 hour walk from a big city. My guess is that in less than a couple of days most of the people I'd worry about, will have used all the gas in the car and cannot get more, thus they'd be limited to where they can walk to.

There was a time when only paranoid folks had these discussions. But I'm amazed that every week that goes by yet another very credible and stable person says these same things.
