Its being talked about again on all major talk radio. The fair tax plan. Eliminate income tax and raising tax 15-18% on all purchases; whether its food; cars or yachts. This would bring into the tax system everybody thet spends money. This would include all people doing any under the table deals including drug dealers; prostitutes; jackleggs; illegal workers and even people growing pot. It grings them all into the system whether they like it or not. Presidential candidate Ron Paul was in favor of this. I feel the American Public would spend more if they didnt have to pay tax on their income. I know I would. Probly never happen; to easy of a soulution not to mention how many thousands of IRS agent would be unemployed. What say you---------------------------------H>>>

Sounds good in theory, unless you consider how the govt administers programs. As I understand it, there would still be a "rebate" to low income taxpayers which would put many in the category of not paying taxes again. The govt is so far in the hole now and sinking like a rock, do you think they would really implement any system that resulted in LESS tax revenue? Also, it doesn't eliminate the IRS agents.......they just get another title.>>>
