Driving

So, the other night I'm driving home after a function with the family.

The typical knucklehead with bright lights AND fog lights on turns-in behind us....Riding our arse. It's a Jeep, so it's elevated, allowing it's bright headlight beams to shine into/through our sedan, making for uncomfortable driving through a dense/older neighborhood.

Speed limit is 20MPH.....So, since this F-head is 10' off the rear bumper, with lights shining through our car....I motor-along at aprx. 15mph, (did I mention there's a tremendous dip/drainage trough, at every street, that if you plow-through at 15-20, you won't have an undercarriage remaining?).

Anyhow - He follows us for 5-6 blocks, until I make a left, at a "T" intersection/stop sign.

Bingo! On goes the bubble-gum lights! It's a cop!

Says' I was impeding traffic...speed limit is 35mph.....Before I could spew out a rant that would've ended with a ticket - at minimum, (I've been hauled off before - Just for disrespecting "the man")....The wife interjects with, "The speed limit is 20mph".....The cop apologizes and says we can be on our way, after he "runs" my license.

Idiots out there, I tell ya!
