Oh I get it........the lesser of 2 evils
One who would vote for a true conservative, would most-likely never consider the likes of Barry, and would most-likely put his/her personal agendas aside, for the sake of the country.
Ah. Well let me elaborate.
For an example : A Big Spending HUGE Government Liberal Republican is running against his Big Spending, HUGE Government Democrat counterpart.
I vote for a conservative, who does not exist in the world of the Dem/ Rep, ONLY in the 3rd party sphere.
How is that stealing a Liberal vote?
are you serious?
TomB Said: How is that?
that is what i asked You
How is that?
How is voting for a conservative stealing a vote from a Republican anyway??????????????
I understand. However, I'm a bit of a realist, as well....We can all wish for world peace, too!
"They" say Romney "flips"....Politicians must be flexible/pander; It's simply the nature of the beast. They all "flip-flop".
Now, how do I say this w/o opening another can of worms?
This is simply JMHO; And to be brutally honest.... The difference I gleen, is the fact Romney has actually participated in more traditional American wealth accumulating practices, and is a bit more grounded/like-minded with myself.
Whereas Obama's moral compass, in no uncertain terms, points in the absolute opposite direction....Is totally out-of-touch with the idea of actually working for your sustenance...Has made his way on the backs of tax-payers, through corruption, scandolous govt. program/employee manipulations, (not that Romney may not have,at times), not to mention the associations with less-than-disireable/anti-American individuals/ideologies....
But, I'm just a simpleton....
Tom, I've heard that my whole voting career. I'm 29, so not that long. With that attitude, it will always be the D's and the R's. We have to SACRIFICE one election, in which I mean everybody votes for who they'd like as Pres. Imagine if Johnson got enough votes to surprise everybody, especially since a lot of nummies don't even know who he is. I think that would open the public's eyes, and lead to a president w/o a hidden agenda.
Sure, there is always the argument that Congress wouldn't let him pass anything. I don't believe that would be any more of an issue than it already is.
What if Romney wins and turns out to be a bigger douche than Obama? I've seen Obama called a liar(agreed), but we know mittens flips like a fish to please whoever is in front of him at the time.....it's deplorable.
I'm going to try to find this debate for download, because I missed it. :(
Do I need to state the obvious? Unfortunately, a vote for anyone other than Romney, is a vote for Obama.
How many people really feel Romney could do the best possible job as pres? I'm confident, most of us have acquaintances that could very well fill the position far better.....
Yes, we would all like to vote for the REAL - most-qualified...But that cannot happen when we have close to a $bil spent on duping the public. Especially the main-stream media, perpetuating the progresive ideologies.
---Johnson could wax the floor with either major candidate. It is too bad the public cannot hear this instead of the memorized "talking points" that the major candidates insult us with. ---But the public has been so "dumbed down" that they actually put up with the major party's nonsense. ---If you follow politics and want to know what goes on behind the curtain I suggest you watch "Yes, Prime Minister" a British comedy from the 1980's. It is available on DVD and is the cleverest and smartest political satire I have ever seen.
Lanny
I am definitely voting Gary johnson now!
Tom wouuld you call yourself a libertarien? Would you vote third party? B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day
WOW! 20 minutes into this debate and I've heard more truth than I've heard from the 2 major candidates and the White House in over 20 years!
