yup, "Finger Flashing." Why would you want a video on finger flashing? :S It's pretty straight forward.

I do the patch, exactly opposite, taking the patch piece, pressing on top of pipe, then cut the fingers from the circl, after just heat a strip around as a counter, the extra juice is a big help

thanks again for the info vaa i do alot of torchdown but mostly straight run repairs.im trying to get better at it as it seems to be most of the work we are getting around here now instead of shingles.just trying to get better at another trade wich i really enjoy believe it or not.good money and i always like the challenge of learning more and new things.ive actually done these vents wich i call finger flashing before lol just never knew what some guys i know were talking about when they said it.thanks again.any more info would be much appreciated!ive been reading posts on here for years and have learned alot ,just never signed up.been in business for 14 years now just usually always dealt with shingles and small residential patio torchdown roofs.now its turning in to commercial :P

I think he means when you cut the fingers in the bottom 1" of the mod for wraping plumbing flashing or whatever. We called it cutting the fingers then torching on the target. Just a guess.
