Totally adhered rubber over plywood ( assuming ) owner didn't know,( no fasteners showing beneath ) This is a roof over a garage used as a patio. What would be the best protective covering? Plastic astro turf, indoor/outdoor carpeting?? He didn't ask, I just want to know. The blasted surface was HOT to walk on. No shoes but he has patio furniture on it, go figure. Educate me and I'll educate him. Womens work never done.>>>
Although they are not my favorite company, Dow Chemical had a lightweight concrete tile that might be applicable, insofar as a potential weight factor. Also, a compatible white paint could be considered. In my own house, I was at first reluctant to the installation of a glass fibre installation where the deck has a very slight slope; and it has been leak proof for approx. 11 years. Wood decks are normally used in this area, however, roof repair of same is really a pain in the arse.>>>
MikeZ, Not knowing how much he wants to invest I agree with the wood. The area is large minimum 25 x 15. Good rubber job. Thank you.
MikeH, same thing $$. I/O, wasn't sure how it would affect the rubber. Thanks
Miscreant, the problems not me...it's the railing, bad job...I'll stay centered.>>>
My advice is not what you were looking for, but If you are still enjoying legal beverages, consume them on surfaces you wouldn't mind falling from.>>>
Little bit of I/O carpet should be fine.>>>
