New Zealand just had a mining tradgedy. I know you know your stuff. Talk to me, we just went throught the Chilean mining accident. This is no less. Let's rmember I'm from Scotland like you , my Dad & Uncles were all coal miners, so I'm a little sensitive about this. Love PC

Death need not be thought so horrible. Here are accounts of people who have experience near death and have come back to report their findings. An intriguing aspect of the claims is their similarity: a tunnel, a rushing sound, a brilliant light, a feeling of ecstasy and being told it is not yet time for them to die. Also frequent are: the out-of-the-body experience in which a person appears to observe his body from above - an instantaneous review of a person's whole life; and sometimes seeing dead friends and family. Ciak, my fake friend, who's' consciousness are we discussing? Dead is Dead. Fried is Fried. Should the officials running all mines have a consciounce. Working behind a desk is not working a mine. Once we return to our souls this CRAP doesn't matter. PC

That jet engine is begging to sound like a problem. Blowing anything other than a fire suppressant will fan the coal fire. B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day

Mike an after thought was your mention of the difference Methane Gases versus Gold/Copper Mining. Not a total understanding but some. I'm still getting educated after all these years. As a child my known miners were still using Canaries. Stricktly Coal. PC

Mike an influx of young Irish are headed your way NZ . As their economy flushes and jobs for young professionals are zip zero noatta in Ireland. Hopefully that will increase work over there for the trades. B) :) :) B) Deep Down In Florida Where The Sun Shines Damn Near Every Day

Well it doesn't sound good. The Chilean mine disaster had the best outcoming we could all ask for. A rarity indeed. Keep in touch. Thanks for the answer. PC

OS New Eeazlnd just had a serious mining accident. 20+ miners trapped. Gases too high. sit and wait situation. It sucks. OS I could tell you too many stories of mining disasters over the years, my Dad was fortunate he got injured at 16 with serious head injuiries, I have had uncles die of back lung. Mining accidents just get my attention big time. Call me a mine workers daughter if you like. I'm not Lorretta Lynn but makes me no different.PC
