We need to reroof an aparment complex which we roofed in 1979 in Colorado Springs. Does The Springs have a roofing license?
Anyone know the requirements?
Can't find it on the net and city hall is closed.

El Paso County, "Pikes Peak Regional Building Dept.",(Colo. Sprgs), does have licensing....It was an open-book test, as I recall, on trade only...So, the test is nothing, However, it's not a walk-up to the counter and buy your license thing...You'll have to apply for a test date, show proof of experience, GL, WC, etc...Go through a little dance....If you've taken the ICC test, that will suffice for their testing, I believe.
Colroda as a state does not requires licensing, but some cities may require registering a job so they can collect taxex or inspection purposes.
