You should know what those symbols are Ole Willie. They are the adjusters theory of relativity. They calculate what the job should be less the homeowners deductible and they basically come up with the figure of W=15 which means they will pay $15.00 a square labour for replacement. If I recall right BT= F stands for Basically They're F*****
I don't disagree with ya twill but this one paid the money to the home owner and they chose to add some to it and accept my bid even though it was the HIGHEST price of 3 quotes. I just got the call a few minutes ago.
I said that I wasn't going to do anymore full replacements but this one is sort of a creme puff ( Lmao @ "UNSAFE" ). 20 Sq. Walkable, 1-layer on half inch plywood and 3-tabs going back on.
We've been in a drought around here for going on 2 months now and that slowed me down with the repairs. Even had one week with Notta!
Oh well, I'll be skinnier by the end of next week but the wallet will be fatter.
As we move deeper into the Wal MArt depression, it is not about if the adjuster knows anything or not. The goal has become about the process: to process the order (claim) , move the product (paper) down the line.
Then get it all done as cheap as possible (Fill them landfills Boyz!) and cry to the Government to be allowed to raise premiums
It's gotten real friggin' weird
Strange thing is that the home owner told me he measured the roof from the ground. WTF?
PS: He came up 4 sq. short including ridge and waste.
It's a 4 sided hip and he was obviously up there. How hard could it be? :silly:
he just did that to prove he was up on the roof.
