Any other cat owners out there? I have 4 all siblings 10 years old. 2 females 2 boys. 1 of the boys is a scrapper the other sissy. My scrapper came in tonight hurt, nothing visible. He is limping, front right leg a little swollen and sensitive, laying on the couch, he wants to be warm & comfy and healing. He rarely comes in. Through the summer he had one side of his face ripped off. He let me help him then but not this one. I guess I'll leave him alone and pay attention. PC

Don't even say put a bullet in his head.

Oh bye the way, it's officially MARCH PC

Copperman, like I said before , good thing you live in Ohio. Do you think the cat had a good time getting tatood? Really some idiots out there.

I was distracted for 20 minutes or so by my Sissy Male Cat. He jumps on my computer desk for attention, totally blinds the screen. Last time I weighed him, he was 16 lbs with 3" hair, he looks enormous. My tax guy last year thought he was a dog. PC

The scrapper is doing fine. Until the next time.

Hey Vaa, Speaking of vet bills....Had a jack-russell that cost us thousands!....He tangled with; A porqupine, coyote, he actually got picked up by a bear, (that was a punctured lung)....He couldn't just get sprayed by a skunk; The vet says he must've bit it on the butt and got the "juice" inside his mouth which became infected unbeknowngst to us, until weeks after the incident....and then there was the fishing lure in the lip....That's all that comes to mind at the moment....We gave him to my brother who lives in the city with a fenced yard for him....

Got a couple inside/outside cats. Had three one was killed by a drunk driver. The male likes to go outside and even when we lived in the city for a few years never got hurt in any way. The one who got killed however would get torn up a lot.

One of my old workers was out back doing some landscape work for my wifes garden and he saw the male jump out from under the deck and with one swat knocked a squirrel down off it's feet. The cat then went for the neck and the squirrels life was over.

Another time had animal control over and they said the same cat would go to the neighbors house sit at the side door and try to attack the cats that were inside the house.

If it were my call the cats would live outside. We have three dogs who live inside 99% of the time. Two labs a yellow and a chocolate. The third is a cokapoo, 5 years old and not totaly house broke. Again if it were my call it would live outside.

TomB,,,,aren't they a great memory? I remember every animal in my life. My husband hated cats until I brought a kitten home. He fell in love, her name was Gypsy. She was my mother Cat. She had 2 litters. I adopted them all. Raised them all and buried all. Animals are so intruiging. PC

As a kid we seemed to always have a cat....Outside only, had a scapper as well, forgot his name....Had one of his ears chewed off early on....

I'm an odd-ball...Love cats...We always have had a cat....The kids just got two manx kittens last year....I had a Manx before I was married..."Curly-Joe" made it 17 years!

These lived outside for 2 years before I allowed them to come in. We had a very harsh winter. Still don't have a litter box, they don't know what it is. Doesn't mean I don't care. I do a head count every day. Mike the same here, 10 years ago I took them to the Doc's for initial shots. Haven't been back since, I had to pay over $200 or they wouldn't release to me. F that. Sorry. He is a trooper and I'm sure will make it through. I DID LEARN SOMETHING NEW TODAY. Cats NOT dogs can take people medicine. I did talk to a Vet today. I can give him Baby Asprin. Who Knew. Now I just have to get him, he is truly my outsider.

copperman I love it. My sissy male climbs my Dogwood and goes on the roof, so does my youngest grandaughter, she is such the tomboy just like Grandma.

I have 6 other cats buried along my pine tree line. The others walked away like Indians, walked away to die. :( PC

Roofdoc...I totally understand. Everyone has a differnet conception. Let them live and let them die. BUT I have never abused an animal in my life. I have cried for many. PC

Sorta like roofdoc when it comes to life/death and injured animals. I don't know why people spend big money on animal welfare when there are people suffering in this world.

But with that said, I have two cats, both outside cats. My favorite cat breed are Sail cats.
