A young man, just turned 18.Who A. Shows up on time, B. Not afraid of nasty work (ie cleaning out gutters with dead critters, etc), C. Asks what to do next if finished with a task. And D. Takes instruction well. Should add that he's strong as an ox too.

Yes, very rare these days. Hopefully, he's able to work with others of the same character. So many times a good one comes along, but becomes disenchanted when he realizes he's carrying his coworkers, &/or he's the black sheep.

Sounds like me about 44 years ago. Course, by that time I had been roofing for about 14 years too!
