I had a gentleman here, don't start talking about me. He carries a camara and has taken awesome pictures of the swallowtail butterflies. The Monarchs are not here, a few around but not many. I hope they come in. PC

Our crape myrtles are in bloom,as are the butterfly bushes. I'm a bird feeder person. Every kind of food for all the different birds. I'm near a nature center. We see fox, deer, hawks, groundhogs, opossums, even a deer, once in a while. I saw a bold eagle this spring. We have a pair nesting near by. My wife's garden is beautiful right now. We have already started to harvest some tomato's. Just a couple plants, enough for us.

Bummer. I have little frogs, lots of them. Actually I thought I had a lot of them but we did a tearoff today on a house right next to the flood plain and she had TONS of little frogs. It looked like the grass was moving. I wonder if it's because the Mississippi is still so high.

They disappeared , honestly, my bushes are in full bloom and should have dozens of beautiful butterflies, not there.

I mentioned it to my friend , she said the same, we looked it up on the internet, they are staying south, what a shame , I guess I'm missing out this year. I bet I get spiders instead . MAKE MY DAY pc

roof dawg....are these butterflies in your belly? Mine are in my yard. Oh what you doing tomorrow, we can meet in Ohio, that's half way. Kidding but it is fun.

I just love the butterflies. I have a bush right outside my kitchen window, last year my crazy brother took me outside with a magiving glass to look what the butterflies do. It is incredible. They suck the sap out of the bush, I saw it up close & personal. Now I love them more. Thank You for loving something other than roofing. PC

Whew I got butterflies today too. I just got hotter than I've gotten all year, at least. 98deg here in SO IL heat index 111 !!!

I love this time of year because of all the fruit. Peaches, watermelon, cantelope, blueberries, STRAWberries
