Please share with us how you look for business insurance and how you will get quotes for 2018.? Do you start now?
We would really appreciate your feedback! Thanks, Vickie
I just switched last year after over 20 years with same place. Service was dipping, prices were rising....
Did it at last minute. Kind of like Halloween and Christmas for me. It always comes a month too soon.
In the the process, I think I found my previous agents weak link : "sue" who managed part of my account . Or was the problem too many "managers"? IDK how agencies work, but I easily saved over 2 thousand dollars. ( a large amount of that was simply paying all at once....Why was I never offered that option before?)
As far as I know coverage is equal and I went with a reputable, local agency with experienced people.
This was in June btw.
Been with the same underwriter, Cincinnati insurance, for like 30 years. They've been great. But I do get quotes every 3-5 years from other agencies & underwriters. I find value in good relationships. I've needed our insurance a few times over the years and those relationships have served us well.
But if you want a good quote, don't tell your existing agent what companies may be quoting because if your agent goes to them first the underwriter will not quote to other agencies.
Start a couple months in advance for the best results.
