General McChrystal Ball
I like the part about Rumsfield refusing to bring in re-inforcements. Part of the reason we have never won, is that we have had people in charge who don't know that we are in a war. To them war is something they clock in and out of. Clueless Bastards making life & death decisions for other people.
Just saw this the other day http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20091209/pl_afp/afghanistanunrestusnatomilitarypolitics_20091209084116
Notice the date: (Dec. 9)
Not that easy to state with any real certainty what is commonly believed. (about anything)
I just handed my own head back to myself this morning after a three-day intellectual debauchery involving early Chinese naval exploration. It was a wild ride while it lasted. Can't fault myself for that. Not even going to mention the book(s) or the "author." It's very humbling how easily the mind can be seduced into fiction. Every now and then we just have to go limping back to Jung and the collective unconscious.
so Bush sents troops to Afgan in Retaliation to the 9/11 attacks -- We cleaned up and left -- Then Hussein opened his big mouth saying America is evil and all muslems should attack any American and applauded the effert to bring America down we warned home several times and he kept up so we went in there shut him up -- so whats obamas excuse for binging 100,000 troops to afgan -- Kinda like sending troops to ethiopia they are not a threat to us probably never were but if we did not retaliate that would have opened the door for all terrorists same as saddam if we did not stand up to his threats he would have had a huge following against america.
Not one of you have a problem with 100 k troops in afgan have a problem with that? when what 140k total in iraq which was much more of a threat to us than afgan ever was.
Furthermore read the article it portrays bin laden as a hero no problems with that part either?
And the reasoning of Obama send another 30 k troops win or loose we are outie in 6 months or a year -- Kinda like throwing new parts at a broken car hoping to fix it isn't it?
Even if i take it as face value and al quaida is still a threat at least stay the course if we are gonig to commit to sending more troops -- But i believe we really should pull out like Bush was trying to do -- And protect our interests in Iraq we spent alot of money and lost alot of lives over there to bring down that prick. If you neigbor consistantly told you he was going to kill you and your family and that you were evil would you let him get away with it? -- This is excatly what Saddam was doing and would never say otherwise.
Well no I have not heard. The Fear Factory has been working overtime here
It's been obvious we paid the ransom for a dead bin laden years sgo. Before Bush made his "I don't really worry about bin Laden" statement. Even BO quit harping about getting bin Laden right after his first National Security briefing.
