What do you think is a good coating system to go over metal? Not inteterested in Polyurea, and would prefer a solvent-based rather than water.

We have a non-compete agreement in the area of this job that won't allow us to do chop on it. It's an odd deal - not likely we'll do it - mostly just bidding because they asked us to but not really trying to get it that hard. But just in case something goes horribly wrong and we get the job, I want it to be a decent sysatem. :-)
Take a look at a polyureathane by RMI called GarnaThane.
I put this stuff in a freezer, at 0, and immediately upon removal creased it at 180 degree bend and you can't even tell it was bent. There was like no change in flexibility. I was impressed beyond words. I haven't used it, but I probably will.
Why not water based? There is nothing to compare.
