Can you guys look into Xactimate and tell me what it pay for scarfing foam? And also for scarfing and refoaming 1" of SPF?
I'd appreciate it.
But since the thread has been killed... It is no longer allowed in Texas for an adjuster to derive income from other roofing ventures, e.g., solar roof pump sales, infrared roof inspections not associated with claims, and outright roofing sales.
That's a fact, jack!
I reluctantly but willingly gave up a substantial portion of my income when the rules changed in August, but for some the rules do not apply.
Oh and, thanks for killing the thread.
Oh the drama...
Let's be clear, since the thread is pretty old. An adjuster/ roofer who is a member of this forum owes me a chunk of money, IMO. Since I don't expect him to man up and pay, I sometimes send a shot across his bow here. I am fairly sure he is breaking the new code/law passed in August that says adjusters in Texas cannot derive income from roofing ventures. If I get the chance to throw him under the bus for it,I will.
That is it.
Ciak, context is your friend. That thread was clearly about my personal battles with one particular Texas adjuster/roofer. if you would read the thread rather than plucking 2 sentences from a very old thread...
Roof guy said,
There are Texas licensed adjusters on this group who indeed make income from roofing ventures. Since I am against needless regulations, I intend to ignore it, but I have taken note and reserve the right to throw under the bus anyone I feel a need to. :-) www.adamsrooftech.com WOW!! You want information from folks you threaten to throw in jail and ruin their family's and lives. Forget it man.
