Looks like the president of an area company is going to get some free room and board.

Always wondered how they could be so cheap. They used to have a real impressive website. Pictures of all of the equiptment and pictures of big job they claimed to have done all over the world.

Another article.

The suppliers file leins on the houses they didn't get paid for. I am not sure how GAF would do that selling the materials a truckload at a time. The guy that used to work for me that worked for this crook for a month or so said that a lot of the "customers" that this guy did roofs for have leins filed on their homes anyway. Not good.

I guess that the company had been around for a long time and the father that started it did a great job with the company. The son took it over and stole a lot of money from the business. Must have, as they went broke owing millions. sounds like an addiction problem to me, but what would I know?

Can we put some blame on the suppliers for keeping the bad eggs in business or do they really know if the guy is a crook? A con artist cons everyone. Good question for Earl. I'll email him.

Well now you know how he stayed in business lowballing. His prices were actually top dollar when you figure his price was just for labor!!!

There were builders in my area that when they went under they left $2,000,000 bills with lumber yards.

You know another scum bag will just take his place right???

I would blame it on the vendor for keeping him in the business and extending him more credit.

What comes 1st? lowering your prices low enough to do enough volume to buy direct from the manufcturer?.......

or..........lowering your prices so much you can;t pay your bills?

We don't need licensing..........we need a $300 per sq MINIMUM (wage)!

I don't feel sorry for GAF. That seems to be the type of clown the Mfgers want anyway
