And that's a shame. Go to my friends website and help by purchasing a t-shirt if you can.

And for WHAT? NOTHING is or has ever been gained from war. The only people that benefit are the bankers and the big corporations that make the stuff to fight with or provide the money. Also, we are fighting to fix the problems that they created in the first place.

My father is 93 and in a VA hospital waiting to die, and he will talk about his unit now even 71 years later. It affects everyone in all wars. My generation was Viet Nam. Now the Gulf Wars. It is a crock!

I say that we should lock all of the "leaders" in a room and let them fight to the death, and then kill those that survive.

... and that's most likely a low number as only 21 states shared the data with the VA. The rate per 100K is 3 times that of the civilian population, and while only 10 percent of the pop. is a veteran, 1 in 5 reported suicides is a vet. Then there are the family members that want to hide the suicide to maintain their soldier's honor, those that go without a note, those that kill themselves in an "accidental way" like a vehicle crash.

Yes... the horrors of war, and the lack of political fortitude in fighting to win, hard, fast, and final, is putting a scar on those that pledged to defend and serve that they do not deserve.
