A slightly upgraded warranty is all I see. The biggest upgrade was the non pro rated periods. It is the only thing that matters. Those that us roof, (rather than canvas), along w/ people who have been stuck w/ the pro rated warranties, know the value.

My guess is that 50% of all warranties technically could be voided upon completion of the roof installation due to improper installation.

A large % will move within 10 yrs. Another % will die before 20 yrs. are up.

The Biggest and most compelling reason for the upgrade is this: Insurance will buy 90% of the roofs that are left anyway. Damaged or not. The canvassers will see to that!

Yeah. Kind of takes intelligenece, skill and honesty out of the trade. It does however leave......canvassing!
