FRSA Announces New Educational Course / CEU Offerings for 2018

FRSA is offering a variety of courses for CEU credits this coming year.

FREE 3-hour course: 2017 Sixth Edition Florida Building Code (2 hours G) - This course will focus on the Florida-specific roofing codes which will include information on FEBC Chapter 7 Existing Building, FRC Chapter 9 Residential, and Chapter 15 Building. Wind Mitigation Methods, the Law! (1-hour WMM) - This course is designed to comply with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s (DBPR) requirements for wind mitigation methodologies. Materials reviewed will include wind zone areas, insured and/or ad valorem taxation criteria requiring compliance, reroofing, water barriers, gable end enhancements, wall connections, fasteners and braces, and retrofitting.
