Old School

No headlap hell, that was a negative headlap. 3 or 4 inches short! We are fixing one now that has a minimal headlap and we took out a bunch of slates that just made it to the bottom of the second slate. They didn't have the right size slates, so they just shoved in what they had. Dumb!!

Earthquake didn't seem to bother any slate roofs. Definitely not the one I was on. We'll see how we fare when the cyclone hits. :laugh:

Well, a few were broken. Other than that, what did you see. This roof HAS already been repaired by 'others'.

What we have here is a failure to communicate!. No head lap. basic rule- length subtract head lap (3inches) divide by two
