:woohoo: Re-Repairs. Especially when the screwups involve lots of cement and and 30penny nails. Some days, I close up and walk away to come back the next day.
As for negotiators, I had a GCc that loved that crap. :ohmy: When I'd got o get the check, he'd say t was too high and he was losing movey. I had three jobs done when that showed up! I knocked a few bucks off at least one of them, then I raised prices by 30% and even 50%. Then, I'd let him beat me down to about 20% over what I wanted and needed. Worked well until I got tired of it after a few years, so one day I settled easily abut 15% over and he asked why I did that. I told him I jacked prices so he could beat me down to 20% more than I needed so we'd both make money and both be happy. :woohoo:
He was mad, I was glad and now I seldom hear from him and I'm happier. Mike, I often charge less than I said I would too. But, try and take a dollar from me, and I too, get irate. :blink:
