Go to craigslist jackson thats where all mississippis finest contractors advertise,starting at $150.00 a square!

Cost of living is probably lower too though

Anywhere in Mississippi the prices are LOW!

The guy at the counter of Menards (supposedly a rep...) told me today $60-70 sq to install Snap Lok metal panels is "good money".

This is of course wages, overhead and for lack of a better term, "profits". Or better, "lack of profits".

I am finding supplier reps are rarely your friends....especially when they promote stupid chit like this.

So OK, yes this guy is a "rep". He is not representing any contractors interests tho.

Like most reps, he "Used to be a builder" and of course has little respect for labor/ subs/ tradesmen/ etc etc.

He's just about moving product......

Roofing prices are the same all over the country.

You've got your higher priced companies and your low-ballers just looking for beer money. It doesn't matter what everyone else charges. You have to decide what you are worth and price accordingly. Sell the quality, not the price.
