Miscreant

I think shipments got mixed up and you got a load of Yankee caulk Ole Willie. I've been struggling all winter with a Dixie formulation up here and my forearms are about as big as Popeye's.>>>

OLE Willie

Must be a northern thing. I have never heard of summer vs. winter grade. When i was a sub for years we used the shiat to seal under the shingles and on top of the vents, pipe flashings etc. ( sealing the shingles down to the metal at teh sides and top ) ( not visible ) It was always fairly hard out of the containers what ever time of year you purchased it. I did not do the work for a few years and now i am doing it again and this has changed. In the old days you could turn the bucket upside down and nothing would come out. Today the shiat would just slide right out and you would have a huge mess. I've tried several different kinds purchased at several different places. Same result! The runs!!!!! lol>>>

I need plastic cement to span gaps, so I use Summer grade year-round. It means you have to stock up in August. There's a third grade for transitional (spring and fall) periods sold around here.>>>
