Problems with securing plywood when you can't install a ply clip

wy :) You know I think you have a good point. The Great and All Mighty One "WEB MASTER STEVE" should make that call IMO. Why pay for clips when 2x4 etc does the trick? "idunno" An inventive product this one. Clever very clever. I would think by the time you had to cut the slot it would have just as easy to saw and nail a few 2x's. While I can appreciate the loyalty shown by you guys saying "buy an ad", I 'm not so sure it's applicaple here. I think someone should be able to ask "what do you guys think of this?" without it being implied that they're violating protocol. Now if Larry is Mr Plyclipfix, that's different, but if all he does is supply it and thinks it could help us, I see nothing wrong with his post.

I can think of at least 3 different ways the sagging plywood could be fixed, but this looks like the fastest and easiest.

I suppose that will be a good alternative when I run out of 10" blocks of 2x4.
