So is there something wrong with triing to figure how a potter makes something out of a clump or in this case triing to figure out how god made us? Will your god punish us for triing to figure him out? I know he said it and you believe whole heartedly and say i do to but am still curious on how he does it is this wrong? Especially knowing and having faith if i could prove that their is a god through science for the benifit of all so there is no doubt -- is this wrong?

Like i said we are all on our own path triing to figure out the answers along the way and it is said god has them all -- I have read the bible many many time and i am telling you i cannot get more than a paragraph or two and ther are unanswered questions/statements and is what i am reading an example or an actual event or possibly a thought or feeling -- I can admit deciphering the bible is hard especially for me - i can also admit i have learned quite alot - I can say everyone that reads it can get a different answer maybee this is how it is meant to be?

How did God create man out of dust same way a potter makes something out of a clump,then He breathed life into His creation,as for all the other stuff alls i can say is,God said it,I believe it,He has proven it over and over so that just settles it,and He shows Himself in everything...just open your eyes...just because its not some big magical event,i mean God doesnt need to prove Himself He's God The Omega The Creator of life..it all comes down to our Faith,all He said was BELIEVE...and who's fighting??..did i miss something?

Kinda funny how the religion topic always turns into a fight when opposing views are presented -- I for one would like to know without a doubt what happens when i die -- I mean some solid proof like someone who has died yet is still in contact with the living if god has all the power and wants people to believe and do it convincingly he whould show his living self -- He is a living god right? that would convince me definatley -- but for know he in my mind is Life itself and is/are the rules of life that cannot be changed.

So kage i have a question or 2 i already know the answer you will give or close to it -- But how did god create man out of the dust? I mean is it possible that it started with a cell that got washed from the water or did he just say let there be man and poof the dust dirt swirled and a man magicly appeared from the dust?

Number 2 If Adam and Eve were the first 2 humans on Earth how could have life continued without insest - With all the begats and so fourth in genesis -- Would not Cain or Able have had to be with eve to bring fourth more? But when cain knew his wife she concieved Enoch - Where are the Women Coming From? -- Again if you look at 3-22 you will see man has become one of us now knows good from evil -- IMO that was Eve the first aware human other than Adam went to the Forbidden Forest and knew the man / Serpent - thus all man became aware - Why not say Adam if he was the only Man?

Jed An atheist at least has an open mind.......open to conversion if you will, whereas a beleiver does not.

Thats because they have no hope,where as a believer does and knows it...but you could too...if ya had a open mind..

.......yeah, that was my intention, but you always got the radicals who will not accept any opposing point of view and don't have the smarts or vision to get beyond it. Back home we call 'em nutters. The fact's speak for themselves though. An atheist at least has an "open mind".......open to conversion if you will, whereas a beleiver does not.

God is none of those He is a LIVING GOD...who is still waitin for a relationship with whoever doesnt have one with Him..period.

I remember once when i was about 6 or 7 years old i was living witjh my grandparents in Madison MN -- I just spent all day Sat at the Lake cabin Mowing the 3 acre lake lot with a 20" Push mower up hill all day -- Kinda like walking to school through 3 feet of snow and 50 below zero --It was a long time ago --but anyway --- My Grandfather promissed i could could fishing when done well about an hour or 2 before sunset my grandfather was still busy in the garden so my grandmother decided to come down to the dock with me - We got down there and i baited my hook with the worms i had dug up Fri night in anticipation - I had my grandfathers cane pole with a casting reel on it - i was not real good at casting and most times i just dropped the bobber in the water and caught little panfish and the occaisonal bullhead - Well since my grandmother came down with me i figured i would try to show off and i leaned back and gave that sucker a good toss and the bobber line and hook took off - unfortunately the line backlashed in the reel tangled all to heck -- now imbarresed i proceeded to walk back off the deck up onto shore until i could get my bobber and hook then sat for 5 minutes triing to untangle the line the whole time being watched by my grandmother smirking -- i finally lost it and threw down the pole and said i am finished - My grandmother says hey what where are you going get back here and fix your pole - i says it is impossible - she looks at me and says nothing is impossible -- so in my little head i thought and said well go try to jump off a building and fly without wings then tell me that -- she looks at me and says that would be pure stupidity to try.

The point i got is that nothing is impossible and remember thinking about not wanting to be stupid -- hey if i jumped off a building holding on to a hot air balloon it would not be so stupid and i could fly without wings and she just may have been right nothing is impossible.

Needless to say we never did get the line untangled we cut it and re - strung the reel :)
