I'm not saying I know every thing . What I am learning from you guys is I haven't been on the end of the equation where as minn has been posting about losing jobs with signed contract being told nonsense in front of customers . I have my idea on how I would handle it but that is me. I'm still looking into the triage management business .>>>
Middleman or whatever, what Triage is looking for, is for the local contractor, to be their sub-contractor.
Bizarra-roonie, ain't it? if you want to work, pick up the phone, call a 1-800 # and ask the boss, or the office girl maybe, if they have any work for ya.
(Don't bother asking him anything about roofing tho )
Kind of like how the local Verizon repairmen do it. They have some sort of pad in their truck that allows them to get in touch w/ the Service Dep't. in GA or FL. They get one job done, contact Service Dep't. for another and go.
Only dif is that they are employees. They have benefits. They have a company truck etc. etc. What does Triage offer that is an improvement? Work??? :P>>>

Ciak i know you have said you have your finger on the pulse of the Insurance restoration industry - But most of the things i mention to you which are common practice here you have really no clue about - Being that you are on the inside is a good thing and maybee you can actually inform us on these type of companies -- I do not know if you have heard of Grip? i think i posted earlier about them but these guys will probably even threatin your position as well
Also curious if you know all the major Insurance companies have a preferred contractor program? And how do i get in?
I have posted before on these topics- I have had adjusters that i meet with on the site of a customer i have signed right in front of me pull out a sheet and say here is our preferred contractor list - It is advisable to call this number and have them come out to take a look - we can fax your claim directly to them and they can work directly with us. No offence to you Mike With Royalty but you have to be a preferred contractor with us for us to give you any of this info - If the home owner wants to give you a copy that is fine but we cannot.
So as i walk outside with this adjuster that i want to thump i kept my cool and asked if he disliked me or what and why he would recomend other contractors knowing i had a signed contract with the homeowner - His answer was we are required to I ask dont you think that is a little unethical he says i am just doing what our Team leader told us to do. I said how do i become a preferred contractor he says you need to be referred by our team leader.
When you go on a catastrophe are you on a team? And how are the leaders paid as a salaried employee or a sub? And How are they able to refer Contractors on behalf of the Carrier? Again i ask i know there is a way in how do i do it? I feel as if you are keeping secrets.
So we have Triage --- Grip --- And Individual Team Leaders that i have shown here to have the power to Refer any contractor of their choosing on behalf of the carrier with the carriers backing/Permission. This is how the big chasers make their money you should know this being you have your finger on the pulse.
Couple i know of off the top of my head -- Aei Aspen - Weatherguard - Cedarvalley - Tachney>>>
Yeah I love to have a beer with you. Hey maybe we can get clearwater to join us??? I 'm off to a Rays Game tonight . Give me a call when you get in. Their are a lot of causeways here , Which one?? rhetoric A style of writing, especially on a particular subject: fiery rhetoric etc .>>>

So your coming to Palm Harbor Jed?>>>

JET Said: Chucky, I dont know why you keep stirring the pot on this subject as its not very popular with the crowd here.A continued testement to your anger based hypnotized blindness. Let see it is not popular hmmm " i dunno " 92 replies and over 1500 views . ;) ;)>>>JET
Just what is the reason for your disbelief ciak, apart from all the rhetoric surrounding the business......whatever that means... Jed With all the law suites being waged against the insurance company's frivolous most of them . Perhaps rhetoric wasn't the proper usage . I'm obviously not an English major and I appreciate the corrections. This industry is very aware of the attacks on it. That is one of the reasons it is not , what is for the most part leveled against it>>>
JET I now know why you say the things you do and have this visceral bile dribbling out of the corner of your mouth with the very mention of Insurance Company's . I'm going to take a risk here and make an assumption. Oh here it comes............ With your Florida State Licences being registered ( if that is the right verbiage ) I'll leave it up to the word police , in 2002 and your proclamations of having been a major roofing contractor for " i dunno " 26 yrs in Florida hmmmm. I only bring this up for a reason. Not that I really care if you have been CCC for 7 or 27 yrs. I don't. What I do question and the reason for the comments on the CCC is when did you have time to be " trained " as a company adjuster ????? ;) The worst adjuster is the rookie ." BIG MISTAKE!" who lack the fundamental information and adjusting skills to keep it a level playing field .
Whew , I guess I keep inableing with the light of truth. I have done a little investigation on the triage I heard in conversation. It was concerning inside adjusters and outside adjusters. Nothing at all to do with Triage Management Srevices. I will put this through the neseccary levels to get to the truth about this. As presented sounds predatorial . I don't know if i would go so far as to say Illeagle . I'll investigate it more closely.>>>
"I just can't believe the insurance company , with all the rhetoric surrounding the business would allow anything at all to come close to the " Skyscrapers"
Why? You figure they are that well protected? That RICO does'nt apply to them? The fact that AIG got away with what they did only serves to put the rest under closer scrutiny, as we see now with the current investigations into the massive amount of mortgage fraud. Just what is the reason for your disbelief ciak, apart from "all the rhetoric surrounding the business"......whatever that means...>>>
CIAK Said: I just cant believe the insurance company , with all the rhetoric surrounding the business would allow anything at all to come close to the Skyscrapers If you ever have worked on the inside you would understand all the security measures that go on. Layer after layer .
That's a given. The inference is that Triage Management Services Inc is exposing themselves to liability with not only the IRS but the way they are characterizing the relationship they have with insurance carriers.
.>>>
Chucky, now you're hurting my feelings :P :P Do I insult you?.......no. I merely bring to light how full of crap you are, that's all. Having been both a company trained adjuster and a contractor I KNOW both sides. You're just a wannabe storm chaser adjuster that couldn't make it in the real world. Don't be hard on yourself, Momma's just glad you're out from under her feet for days at a time ;) ;) I don't know why you keep stirring the pot on this subject as it's not very popular with the crowd here. Try some sermons or something positive instead. I know you still have a few in your back pocket.......let the brother preach!! :woohoo: :woohoo:

I just can't believe the insurance company , with all the rhetoric surrounding the business would allow anything at all to come close to the " Skyscrapers " If you ever have worked on the inside you would understand all the security measures that go on. Layer after layer . Not a chance someone would get through with crap that's thrown at them. An example is JET. He is so blinded by his anger as witnessed by the visceral remarks and venom he spews and spits . Any opportunity no matter how squed and demented or small , Jet sees it as a crack to attack. It is just this sort of total insanity that has caused the firewalls and a lot of the problems between the two entities + the homeowners. The more the disconnect the more the protection and isolation between the contracting community and homeowners. The more the disconnect the greater the possibility of losing work because their are opportunist in triage and stormier etc. To continue down this path will only result in more paranoia lost work. This is part of why I'm creating this dialoge>>>
"Triage Management Services Inc seems to be more than a middleman, they are a layer between the middleman and the carrier." ......................Hence the name I assume..>>>
