Hi Frank,

I do not consider that a shortcut.

I have to get out of the topic. Go sign in Now find the topic I wanted to post a reply in. Find the post I wanted to reply to. Go to the bottom of the page. Remember my train of thought.

This all because someone else has a problem with their computer.

It will have to be important for me to go through that.

I did not post a lot before. It will be less now.

This will keep me mostly as a lurker.

Not what I want to be.>>>

Webmaster Steve

OK thanks

Can you get the old link I need the querystring in the link then I can determine wether to send them to the home page or the forum.>>>

Hi Steve,

You figured it out. LOL

Whatever you did changed the link in my favorites. The old address shows up then redirects to the homepage.

Webmaster Steve

Lefty can you post the link to the old forum maybe I can setup a validation on the old page that will redirect them to the new forum or just the new site.>>>

January 11, 2009 at 1:12 p.m.

Webmaster Steve

Yes I realized that and changed the message to show the new forum url.

If I could figure out a way to put a redirect script in place of the forum link I would.>>>

Hi Steve,

The reason I did not get here till yesterday. I checked in everyday to see if the forum was back up. I would go to my favorites and come here. Yesterday I was on another computer. I had to type in the Roofers Coffee Shop.com. If this had not happened I still would not have known there was a new forum.

So maybe others do things the same way I do. Maybe you should put a message or a link on the old page.>>>

Hi Steve,

I know it is lazy.

If I have to log in first, there will be posts that I will not make the effort. I do not know if I am alone with this.

I do not expect you to cater to my requests. I am just giving feedback.

Webmaster Steve

Fixed the topic page number return, it should now take you back to the topic page you were on when you submitted the reply.

The reason I dont have it save the logon cookie info after you close the browser is that people used to have problems with cookies getting stuck and had to delete all thier cookies to fix it.>>>

Hi Steve,

When you post a reply it takes you to the first page of the topic. Sometimes I reread my post to see if it made sense.

If it took you to the page your post is on would be nice.

I can wait or deal with the way it is.

Better then what we had.

Thank you>>>
