The most amazing foam roofs I have ever seen are the ones with no coating. Just gravel. Even here in Ohio were they spend at least 6 months of the year wet, the foam is dry, flat, excellent.

And before we get too far off topic, this thread was never about trashing SPF. That much should be obvious given that I've hired SPF sprayed for myself twice. I think SPF is an amazing product when used where it works best. I think Spenda is an amazing p>>>

I have a special need/request. Can SPUF be acceptably installed over asphalt shingles (about 3/12 slope) and if so, do you have a reference standard I can refer too? Also, where can I find acceptable substrates verses unacceptable (if it exists)? I>>>

Tim, you truly are the Les Nesman of investagative Roofing.

You are correct. All the Urethane Foam Roofs you can simply Google are a Hoax. The endless investagation on the age of the roofs, bought and paid for.
