Does anyone need a real expensive pen?

I'm a firm believer that we get to spend our money how ever we want, but I'm not impressed by that kind of excess.

Leona Helmsley left $12 million to her dog and that's about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Think of all the families that have a family member with terminal cancer that could be helped by spreading around $12 million. All the seriously injured veterans whose families are going to struggle getting the things they need.

I have no respect for people like that or for anyone who would spend $7,000 on a pen.

$7,000.00 for a pen? You could buy a small roof for that!

With the free shipping it almost seems like a bargain. Payment in full would be less than a downpayment on their dragon sculpture. If only they had an Abraham Lincoln or Thomas Jefferson pen I might be sorely tempted. Once that got nailed down the only thing left in my bucket list would be a team of six white horses. ;)

I wonder what they feel like in your hand. That would be the deciding factor. $30 is not so bad when you lose it on a roof.

The pen I carry with me cost $30. There is nothing like the feel of a good pen in your hand.

When we were in Hawaii I found a nice pen made out of Koa wood. That one cost me $40.
