Just wondering how the contractor community feels about social media--Do you have a facebook page?
We at NEMEON do. Right now it is more or less a hobby for us. We are studying social media to figure out how to better incorporate it into our advertising and to gain exposure for our cooperative and our membership.
Let's see how many of you are on Facebook--LIKE NEMEON!!
Maybe you will be the 100'th like on Facebook and recieve a gift box of LionGuard wearables and trinkets!

Recently started Facebook Page for Roofer Mike Inc I generally keep it light. Here's an example:
If we didn't have meteorologists ROOFERS would do the weather... Farmers get the long term forecast... Click for pic http://www.rooferscoffeeshop.com/rcs/users/roofermike/roofermike httpsphotos-b.xx.fbcdn.nethphotos-prn1527084_128830847261903_1849880347_n.jpg.JPG

Experts say I need "likes". I'd rather get them with something light than hard roofing info which you can always get at roofermikeinc.comhttp://www.roofermikeinc.com/

I liked your page Soldierboy.
Another great example of how to put facebook to work. Love the introduction of videos and the humorous ads.
Great page!

Gregory--I 'liked' your facebook page--enjoyed looking at it. Great pictures. I especially like how you put your customers project pictures and make it very personal!
A benchmark for all roofers looking to establish their own page
I wood add that most likely the commercial style roofers wood benefit less from it(if any) than us pitch/homeowner types. Then it wood have to be within a certain radius of where you live or do business from........plus the biggest advantage is that you git to play ....MAFIA WARS...while you aint doin nothing else
....and in answer to your original question, it is the thing of the future, for some folks. I have already picked up work from my presence on FB. I will be lookin for my trinkets for bein #100.. B)
"Liked" you Jeff

I don't do facebook. Too many distractions for me.
Yes, but I doubt y'all would like the brashness and vulgar humor that ruminates on it. I will have one for my business in costa rica after the web page is up and running.
Thanks Earl. You've caused me to add a new picture too
