Quite often when I close my eyes and get reasonable, I imagine I am builderr. These days, mostly two of us, often three of us, sometimes four of us, and on rare occasions, six to eight of us.>>>
When I max out at all I want to do, I have 4 on the roof and a truck driver. If the truck driver can handle it, he does on-the-roof labor, too. If not, I invent a new job classification, ground roofer.>>>
I run one crew of four guys. This seems to be a good number for me. I send one guy out on repairs when it gets too crowded. Sometimes we leap frog jobs. Get one tore off and started and then send a couple of the guys to start the next one. One crew pays my bills. Two crews makes double the work for me but doesn't seem to make me double the money.>>>
You should fire that guy!>>>
my crew is lazy, argumentative, late starting, early leaving, bunch of primadonnas that no one wants to work with. Sweaty stinky, rude, disrespectful to the boss, and all around miserable....... Did I mention...I work alone? :woohoo:>>>
Three or four of us. that is plenty!>>>
