Ya gotta think...with all of the freebies handed out by the Ins Cos. if there is ever a slowdown in premium increases.....a price war might break loose to sell policies.

We just finished a large job in Midland, Tx. that was one of a few examples of a good and honest adjuster who wanted to do what is right. Not as many of those anymore.
Yes, the whole dynamic has changed. I loved doing battle with adjuster I thought were screwing the insured, but now I'll have to remain arms length. When I spoke to the man at the board of ins this morning he assured me that I still have a right to defend my estimate to the adjuster, and I have a right to work with the adjuster if it is our roof with a warranty.
The way I would hope this works out, a building owner would seek out reputable repair bids before accepting the Ins. Co. / Restoration Contractor settlements, instead of what we have now.....
